It’s important to have information about the previous bikes that you have owned. Even if I’m building you a bike to correct fit issues, I still need the information from bikes prior. The measurements that I need are fit related. If you have any other information about your bike’s geometry I would love to have it for my records as well.
The fit measurements I need from you are:
Handlebar to floor - Measure from the center of the handlebar.
Saddle to floor - Measure from the top of the saddle where your sit bones are most often located.
Saddle setback - Tip of the saddle to the center of the bottom bracket spindle. Using a plumb-bob is the easiest way to measure this.
Saddle height – Center of bottom bracket spindle to the top of the saddle where your sit bones are most often located.
Saddle to handlebar - Measure from the tip of the seat to the center of the handlebar.
