A Couple of Mountain Bikes:

Matt’s frame is back from the painters and ready to ship out to Virginia. It’s a steel hardtail designed for a 120mm fox fork and 29″ wheels. Matt picked a deep metallic blue, but in photographs it appears black. The logos are bronze and white for a classic and crisp look.

Steve’s bike headed out to the Bay Area of California last week. It’s a titanium 29er with Sram XX1, a 120mm Rock Shox SID, and Stan’s Arch EX wheels. Steve finished off his build with a comfy titanium seatpost. He also wasted no time in getting on the bike. He took it out for a big ride the day it showed up and had this to say;

“The maiden voyage was a good one for testing out my new Alliance 29er hardtail. The ride was ~30 miles with 5k ft of climbing/descending over some of the best single track in the bay.
Climbs like a goat – check
Handles twisty tight trail – check
Confident on steep descents – check
Rips on flowy trail – check
Comfortable for 4+ hrs of riding – check”

Thanks for the feedback Steve, I hope you continue to enjoy the bike.
