Chris’s Titanium 29er:

This is my good friends CK’s new bike. I would like to think that Chris is to the food industry what I am to the bike industry. He owns a beautiful restuarant in Hailey were I live.

Check out his website at www.cksrealfood.com/

CK’s bike is built with my X0 kit, but the wheels have been upgraded to Chris King hubs and a pair of Pacenti TL28 rims wrapped with Maxxis tires (2.4 Ardent f/2.1 Ignitor R). I used DT supercomp spokes and alternating pairs of red and black nipples to keep with the theme. A Chromag carbon handlebar and seatpost quick release, one of my titanium seatposts, Hope Race X2 brakes, and Sram X0 Gripshit are some of the kit substitutions found on the bike. A Fox F29 fork sports 120mm of cush and keeps up with the progressive geometry of short chainstays and slack head angle. The bike came in at 23.6 pounds without pedals.
