Check Facebook and Flickr for Frequent Updates:

Lately I haven’t had much time to update the blog.  Flickr and Facebook have been fitting into my schedule more and I think I’m only going to use the blog for completed bikes and general news. I’ll be posting build photos and other fun stuff at the other two spots (mostly facebook).  I’m getting ready to head out to Denver for the North American Handbuilt Bike show on Wednesday.  I’m in booth #911 right across from the good folk and my friends at Anvil Bikeworks. It should be a good time. I’ll be around my phone/email at certain hours of the day, but I’ll be in the show all day, so response time will be slower.

I know not everybody has a facebook account, but I don’t think you have to be signed up to view a fan page. Cruise over to www.facebook.com/alliancebicycles or www.flickr.com/alliancebicycles

Last week I finished Martin’s titanium monster cross frameset.  He will be getting the Whiskey Parts #9 disc fork with the 15mm thru-axle once it’s in stock.  I had a quick release version for pictures at the shop for another upcoming build.  His bike features a tubeset tuned for stiffness, a 34.9mm seatmast for use with most toppers, welded water bottles bosses and fender/rack mounts, 44mm headtube, s-bend seatstays, and Paragon sliding dropouts with a Shimano 12mm x 142mm thru-axle.  The bike will clear 45c knobby tires and even bigger once the wheel is pulled back. Martin also has a nice finish picked out for this bike.

I’m also working on a coupled titanium 29+ and some titanium seatposts
