Elliott’s Bike is Underway:

Elliott’s new bike will be used for the type of rides that are measured in days and weeks, not hours and minutes.  It’s designed with a low bottom bracket and stable geometry for piling on the miles. He selected a titanium frame for a smooth damp ride and a carbon Wound Up disc fork for all weather braking.  Shimano Ultegra and DT Swiss wheels will complete the package.  I will post more on this one next week.

I also finished Captain’s fork.  His frameset is on the way to Spectrum for a classic panel scheme.  Chris’s lugged fork is in process as well for his incoming tubeset.  It will be a unique mix of Columbus Max and True Temper OX Platinum.

Hand facing lugged fork crown races makes me want a lathe really bad!  Add it to the ever growing list of reasons I need one.
