Juan’s Road Bike:

This week I will be finishing up Juan’s new bike.  He’s been riding a cyclocross bike on the road, but was looking for something a bit more racey for the hills of Austin, TX.   We decided on a double oversized front triangle Using True Temper OX platnium.  I kept the weight down by using .7-.4-.7 walled tubes.  The back half uses a pair of 24mm chainstays for lots of punch out of the saddle and a pair of 14mm seatstays.

Juan selected s-bend seatstays and straight chainstays

Mitered

Tubes cleaned and ready to weld
